Booked Birdcage at Bird of Smithfield.
The birdcage itself was perfect as a venue. Lovely decor and perfect size with a good ratio of seating to floor space. Felt cosy and spacious at the same time. Glamorous feel to it with lovely blue velvet and gold accents. All guests at the party remarked on how nice the venue was. Had its own bar and toilets. Staff helpful and friendly. Could just plug and play my own music. Great location as a choice of 4 stations nearby and close to a couple of good hotels. Absolutely a perfect private partyplace!
Booked The Lounge at The Floating Showroom.
I booked the venue to celebrate a surprise 22 birthday party for my girlfriend. The boat was lovely decorated with flowers, balloons and colourful lights. Everything went as expected or even better. We really loved the boat and definitely can’t wait to celebrate again. Bel was very supportive and Eli was always available. Both were really nice and the service they provided was outstanding. I haven’t seen another venue like this which provided so much flexibility to create your event. I would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed the Studio 54 party that we had here. It’s a great space, the decoration of the place is really whacky and fun and it’s a nice size so that 100 people don’t feel packed in like sardines but it would still look busy if not many people came.

Fulham Palace is a county house wedding venue set in the heart of London– not a combination you usually hear of. That’s what makes it so unique: the house is steeped in history and the architecture is beautiful, whilst the gardens are landscaped and make for the perfect photo backdrop. There are plenty of choices for your ceremony. There is a church a short walk away or Fulham Palace’s very own chapel. If it is a civil ceremony you’re hoping for, there’s a range of function rooms which would be perfect. Head to the Great Hall after you’ve said your vows – it seats 90 for a meal and 150 for an evening reception. The marquee is a fantastic outdoor alternative that seats up to 180 guests.

GREAT VENUE, LOVELY TEAM/ STAFF – you won’t regret booking here! To be honest, there wasn’t anything not to like – had a brilliant 30th birthday party! After my initial inquiry was unsuccessful as the venue had been booked over my proposed date, Theo (manager) took the initiative to get in touch again to let me know that it comes free for my 30th birthday party date. He met me at the venue at very short notice and was only too happy to show me around and talk me through all the facilities. Theo was also great on email thereafter – checking in re. whether I wanted drinks on arrival, DJ equipment set up on the night etc. On the night itself, Jake and his team couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Jake himself held the ladder whilst I strung bunting from the lamps and were just a lovely presence all night – smiling and dancing whilst serving everyone. Maria was great on the door – we didn’t have to worry about any gate crashers as she and her colleague checked everybody in on arrival.

Very flexible and accommodating venue manager and lots of options to decorate our party. Venue manager was on call throughout the event and was kind enough to quickly come to the rescue to help us change a gas canister and fill the water tank. We had a lovely day.
