Girls Getaway wedding venues hire Ealing London
Grab your gear, ladies—it’s time to a trip through sonoma!! The past few years we’ve shared several Girls’ wedding venues hire Ealing London featuring the lovely gals at Beijos Events, and today they’re back at it again to bring us the ultimate wine tour!
Kicking off their trip, the ladies found the cutest lil’ place to rent: Dove Cottage. They told us: This was my first gals-only trip to the region and it is the perfect escape for just that. It’s relaxing, there are breathtaking views, it has great food along with shopping options…and let’s not forget the obvious—THE WINE! There are so many amazing vineyards around this area to explore and enjoy tastings at, and everyone that is involved in the viticulture industry is so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. How could you not be when your job is so fun?!
Ready for the ultimate guide to Sonoma? Let’s check out all the fun Olivia Richards Photography captured! Oh, and just wait until you see the EPIC giveaway later on!
Stay: Dove Cottage
When you can find an adorable VRBO or Airbnb in the area, it’s always a win + makes you feel more immersed in the place. Almost like a local, right?
Hellooooo, dream kitchen!
The ladies found Dove Cottage on Instagram and it provided a ton of incredible amenities for the weekend + a beautiful backyard to lounge in.
Shopping
When it came to perusing local boutiques, Sonoma Square was THE place! The Loop + Perlé were their personal faves.
Lunch at The Girl and the Fig
The first stop of many excellent food places? The Girl and the Fig.
First of all, we basically ordered the entire menu. Second of all, they had a rosé flight. So our day was basically made!! We sat in their back patio which was so lovely, and we basically ate ourselves silly.
We had used them for a wedding we planned as the caterer and I knew I had to check out their restaurant because it was so yummy. They did NOT disappoint!!
First Stop on the Wine Tour: Gun Bun Winery
And then the tour of wineries began at Gun Bun Winery—California’s oldest family-run winery.
Dinner at Glen Ellen Star
That evening the ladies headed to Glen Ellen Star—it’s a local favorite + has the best homemade ice cream. You simply MUST go.
YUM.
Brunch at Sunflower Caffé
The next day called for brunch as Sunflower Caffé, another local favorite located in Sonoma Square.
Heads up: There was a line out the door when we arrived! They also have a really nice back patio that was shaded and so enjoyable to sit at. Our meal felt light and healthy but so so yummy.
First Stop on the Wine Tour: Ram’s Gate Winery
One of the highlights of the trip was Ram’s Gate Winery. I had never been and it’s a MUST see. It’s beyond gorgeous, the grounds are amazing, and the wine and service is next level. We had SO much fun here.
We had their cheese plate and tasted so many delicious wines!
We sat, relaxed, and then walked through the vines by the lake and just enjoyed the view. We can’t say enough great things. Also, they don’t do weddings, but they do host rehearsal dinners and other events!
Cleanse Your Palette at The Olive Press
After our visit at Ram’s Gate we headed to The Olive Press which is close by. Here we did an olive oil tasting—another thing I highly recommend. I know wine is the thing to do in Sonoma, but this was so fun and outside the box! Plus we learned so much and basically spent a lot of money because they were all so tasty…
Have you ever tried olive oils infused with other flavors? So tasty + unique!!
Boxcar Chicken and Waffles
Next stop: Boxcar Chicken and Waffles (formally Fremont Diner) perfect for a quick bite to eat between tastings!
Cornerstone Marketplace
The last stop was at Cornerstone—a marketplace with boutiques and tasting rooms…but the highlight? Their art-inspired gardens.
We had a private tour and everything was breathtaking. Each installation had meaning behind it and we got to gaze at gorgeous flowers and plants. It could be a great location for a wedding!
A Sweet DIY Dinner Tablescape
One of the best things about renting a place to stay? We got to use the backyard and create our own custom tablescape for dinner one night!
Cheese board goals!! Supplies courtesy of Feed & Feast.
How incredible is this? We might need to get our hands on one of those Plum & Sparrow bags…
Natasha Kolenko added the perfect amount of color to the table with that gorgeous centerpiece, and the ladies created such a sweet summery style with pieces from L’entramise + place cards by Poppy Jack Shop. To a trip through sonoma
Cheers to that!!
